Our arashi-dyed pieces use the Japanese arashi ("storm") tie technique — the fabric is bound and wrapped, reverse-dyed to pull color out, then overdyed for depth. The result is a rippling, wave-like pattern that's one of a kind on every piece. Made to order in our Los Angeles studio.
