While most people know William Cashion as the bassist for Future Islands, he's also a trained painter who's recently found his way back to making visual art. As a musician, his bass lines are infectious and moody, and his paintings also inspire one to dance. Through his use of brilliant color, William explores a whimsical and dreamlike inner world.
William often finds his inspiration on daily rambles through his neighborhood, guiding our decision to collaborate on a lightweight jacket perfectly suited for those walks. Made of 100% nylon with water resistant PU coating, the Keep x William Cashion windbreaker features artwork designed and painted by Cashion. These works were then transformed into a mosaic of chromatic pieces, painstakingly applied to the jacket by the team at Keep.
